How Long You Can Stay:

Oman offers two Tourist Visas depending on your trip:

What to Bring:

Visit Unsponsored Oman Visas

A GCC resident can travel to Oman using a 29A visit visa if he is the main traveler and has an eligible profession. In contrast, you will need a 29B visa if you accompany the main traveler.

You can enter Oman by securing a Dubai/Oman joint visa if you are not a GCC resident. This allows you to stay for at least 21 days in Oman.

Qatar-Oman tourist visa: You can also explore Oman with a Qatar-Oman joint tourist visa. This visa is valid for 30 days. The citizens of 37 countries can apply for it. The fee for this visa is QR 100.

E-visa facility

Citizens of many countries can also apply for e-visa online. There are two options.

Single-entry e-visa (OMR 20): This option is perfect for those intending to spend holidays in Oman or on a business trip. It allows a maximum stay of 30 days.

Multiple entry e-visa (OMR 50): This visa allows you to visit Oman several times a year, but each stay mustn’t exceed 30 days. It is your go-to option if you will tour Oman multiple times a year.

Visa-free entry for a short stay in Oman

Oman also allows visa-free entry to citizens of 103 countries for a short stay of up to 14 days. The travel regulations are:

  • You must have a confirmed return flight ticket showcasing you will leave Oman after 14 days.
  • You must have booked a hotel room in Oman or arranged other accommodation.
  • You must have valid health insurance covering your stay in Oman.
